Speedtouch 330 and Mac OS X 10.4

If you have the Speedtouch 330 usb modem from your ISP and your computer is a Mac, please make sure you download the latest compatible drivers for your modem if you plan to upgrade to OS X 10.4.
The cd rom your recieved should be compatible with OS 8.6 - 10.3.9 but not any higher.
Many ISP's use the Speedtouch modem and will have many people calling up asking why the modem does not install once they have upgraded.
Well the answer is that OS X 10.4 is a 64bit operating system and the drivers on the cd are only 32bit.
Hope this helps.

I just got a Speedtouch 330 (May 06) and the disk comes with a dedicated OS 10.4 driver. Still doesn't work!

Modem works fine on with a PC so no problem with the hardware or line.

If your Mac is an Intel based MacBook then your going to have to wait until a suitable driver is available as the current driver only supports Power Book Macs.
